That was the week that was !

This final day; the week has passed,
I wondered if we'd ever last.
The lectures, seminars, the food and drink
Was energy left for us to think ??

This conference took two years to plan.
A group of 'workers' led by Ann.
We planned a book we hope you'll read,
We also had the help of SEED.

From countries near and far you came.
'Parents in Education' was the frame...
We hope this week gave you ideas
For making links, new friendships - and no tears.

To Frank, the boss at Quality Hotel
We thank you much; it all went well.
The food was good, the coffee flowing
T'was all designed to keep us going !

Three evenings, full of fun and dance.
The City Hall, Schools' music and a chance
To join a Ceilidh. Sore feet, sore heads..
This morning -early- we reached our beds.

We hope you have enjoyed these days
And, as you go your separate ways
Rernember Glasgow, this week in May.
We thank you all. Come back and stay.
